You want to configure SDRS to automatically balance the disk space usage and disk I/O on a datastore cluster.

To accomplish this task, the administrator can perform the following steps:

In the vSphere Client, navigate to Inventory > Datastores and Datastore Clusters.
Right-click the datacenter object named Training, and select New Datastore Cluster.
In the first page of the wizard, select Turn on Storage DRS; then click Next.
In the Automation page, select Full Automation and click Next.
On the Runtime Rules page, check the Enable I/O metric for SDRS recommendations box.
Set the Utilized Space threshold o 85%.
Set the I/O Latency to 20ms.
Click Next.
On the Select Hosts and Clusters page, select Cluster-01 and click Next.
On the Datastores page, select VMFS-11 and VMFS-12. Click Next.
On the Ready to Complete page, click Finish.
