Scenario:

You are optimizing a vSphere environment in which the density of VMs per ESXi host needs to be increased. You want to configure your vSphere environment to minimize the use of memory overhead. You also want to configure a specific ESXi 5.1 host to enable the use of a system swap file to allow some memory overhead of the hostd and vpxa agents to be reclaimed when the host is under memory pressure.

Requirements:

• Enable the use of a system swap file on a specific ESXi host.
