Scenario 12
< Back | Next>
Scenario:
Your HA cluster currently has four hosts but is expected to grow over time. Regardless of the number of hosts in the cluster, you need to configure HA to tolerate just one host failure. The memory reservation on one VM is set to 4 GB. The memory reservation on all other VMs is 0 MB. You are concerned that if the HA slot size is 4 GB, then the total number of slots will be too low to support your VMs.
Requirements:
- Configure HA for one host failure.
- Use advanced settings to ensure the slot size used by admission control is no more than 2 GB.
