This PDF covers a feature of Dreamweaver called Timelines that appeared in version Dreamweaver MX. It was not initially included in Dreamweaver MX 2004, but if you download the version 7.0.1 update, you will have access to the Timelines feature, which has been restored in the update.

Currently, this PDF is based on Dreamweaver MX. Changes since the last edition of the software and the book are mainly this: The Layers panel now appears under the Design panel group, and the Property inspector for layers has a slightly different appearance. I generally in this chapter show panels standing alone rather than docked to the side of the window in the panel stack.

You will need to refer to Chapter 11 for CSS, Chapter 14 for Layers, and Chapter 16 for Behaviors in the current edition of the Dreamweaver MX 2004 Visual QuickStart Guide.
